DAILY FIELD TRIPS BY ENDEMICOS INSULARES

The non-profit Endemicos Insulares (Island Endemics – Mexico) will offer 3 field trips before (30
Sept, 1 and 2 Oct) and 3 after the conference dates (8, 9, 10 Oct). These tours are designed for
people who would like to select a specific destination for each day and return to their lodging at the
conference site. Each daily tour will visit a different ecoregion of the State of Veracruz providing an
opportunity to see endemic bird species and subspecies. All daily trips will depart from the host hotel
and will return to the same point in the evening.  Each trip will have a cost of 65.00 US dollars before
and until April 3, 2006, and 70.00 US dollars from April 4 to September 4, 2006. Price for each tour
includes a 10.00 US dollars non-refundable contribution towards the organization of the IV NAOC and
a 5.00 U.S. dollar non-refundable processing fee. Tours are offered nearly at operation cost and
potential earnings will support conservation programs by Endemicos Insulares. Field trips include
experienced bilingual birding guides and bilingual drivers, snacks, comprehensive insurance policy,
entrance fees where applicable, and transportation.  For additional information and to make

the sole responsibility of Endemicos Insulares.

mangroves and a walk through adjacent vegetation zones.
